Arthur (Artie) Schimek
Now honorably retired from Law Enforcement, Arthur (Artie) Schimek is a highly decorated Police Sergeant, formerly with the Miami-Dade Police Department in South Florida. With a family history of law enforcement, Artie served the South Florida community for 31 years. He has extensive uniform and plainclothes experience, working a multitude of assignments as an operator and instructor.
Artie was an instructor on the Departments Mobile Field Force Training Unit, addressing riots, large crowd demonstrations, the use of chemical agents, and special weapons and tactics. He was a Task Force advisor during the FTAA protests in the City of Miami and an Task Force XO during the Summit of Americas protests in Fort Lauderdale.
He also was an instructor for active shooter scenarios, perimeters, building searches, officer down scenarios, and high profile Officer rescue scenarios.
He currently shoots handgun, shotgun, and rifle courses. Artie is the President of HTP and is the Director of Training.

Jeff Lozner
Jeff Lozner was a highly decorated Police and Military Veteran. He proudly served our Country in Law Enforcement in South Florida and in the United States Marine Corp. Jeff was an expert long range rifle marksman and survivalist. He advised on a number of firearms platforms, as well as combat and wilderness survival. He passed away suddenly during 2021. He left us with an encyclopedic knowledge of firearms safety and responsible firearms ownership . He will be sorely missed.
