 My wife and I recently had the pleasure of taking the weapons/gun safety course provided by Artie, and as a first time gun owner, we both must say that we found it extremely informational, productive, and most importantly educational.  Artie came to our house and was prepared and extremely professional.  In addition, he was extremely courteous and patient.  His visual presentation was extremely informative and covered each topic in detail, while at the same time ensuring that we understood what was discussed and had all of our questions answered.  I would highly recommend this training for all individuals or families considering he purchase of a weapon.  I know I can count on him with any additional questions concerns that we may have in the future.

 I had the pleasure of taking a handgun training class with Artie from Handgun Training and Performance.  I went into the course with a working knowledge and experience in owning and operating firearms and I still came away having absorbed some very valuable information and insight.  Artie is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable and very thorough instructor. I've been part of other training programs in the past but what I liked about his program is the small setting and individual attention you get as opposed to being in a typical large classroom setting.  

My experience was great because there were no distractions and he was able to focus on me and what I wanted to learn from the course.  I was able to learn things that I wouldn't  have learned in a larger classroom setting.  His interpersonal skills made it seem like it was more tailored to me.  I would definitely recommend this course to anyone, whether you have experience with a firearm or not.  He's not like a lot of people who teach firearms skills, who try and get as many people in the class as possible, go through the motions and get you through just to get your money.  Artie is truly passionate about what he does and wants to educate people and keep people informed and more importantly safe.                        

 I knew that Artie had a background in Law Enforcement prior to taking the class.  Even though I have a CWP from another state and a background in Law, I was surprised at how much I learned.  He is willing to share his knowledge with you. The kind of information that only comes from years of experience.  He keeps his classes small to ensure that everyone gets all they can out of the presentation.  Even though this isn't a Florida CWP course, it should be.

A great class for any gun owner, especially the novice gun owner.  From gun safety to gun laws, it was all explained by a highly experienced professional.

Even though I already had my CWP, there was so much information that he taught me from his own experience.  He was willing to come to my house and it made it much less intimidating and easier to ask questions.  Artie explained things in detail and left no question unanswered.  I changed some things around after his class, including my concealed holster and getting a better flashlight in case I had to tactically go through my house in the middle the night.

Even though I was a retired LEO I learned so much more during this class.  Artie truly is available when I have questions or to go practice to strengthen my skills.  I definitely have "more tools in my toolbox".  Great Class.

Artie Schimek is a great firearms instructor. I did not know anything about guns nor had I ever fired one.  Artie was very giving with his time and knowledge.  He is very thorough as to all aspects of gun ownership and use.  I am pleased to have met Artie and I recommend him without hesitation.
